The Masquerade welcomed UK based rockers You Me At Six with a full house. I am not certain how the show wasn't sold out because there were no seats available and no place to stand but people packed themselves in like sardines to see these guys. You Me At Six is comprised of vocalist Josh Franceschi, guitarists Max Helyer and Chris Miller, bassist Matt Barnes, and drummer Dan Flint began their adventure in 2004 and have never looked back. They have already produced five Top Ten albums and the has been dubbed "A force to be reckoned with" by Kerrang. One thing is for sure, they pack a heck of a show into their hour and half or so of stage time.
Tonights' show was the final show of their Back Again Tour 2019 . You'd never know this was the last date being played based on the energy on stage. Josh can't stay still. His movements across the stage, back and forth, quick and agile, are intentionally distracting. From start to finish, keeping the fans engulfed in the show was a purposeful mission and it worked. Though I cannot vouch for the energy in show one of this tour, I can say that the band didn't show any signs of being ready for it to end. The grand appeal of Josh motioning to the crowd to participate, or throwing his hands in the air as if to conjure more noise from the fans inspired everyone in attendance so the show never slowed down.
